Master Cleanse: The Salt Water Flush
It is important to understand that there are two parts to this cleanse. Part one is the detox: mobilizing the “junk” from the part of the body where it’s stored. This part of the diet doesn’t start to take place until later in day 2, 3, or even day 4. Part two is elimination: ensuring the “junk” is washed out of the body quickly and regularly so that the toxins are not reabsorbed, which can leave you feeling sick or dizzy. Often miserable.
The salt water flush is a powerful part of that elimination process. The recipe is easy and the procedure simple. All the ingredients required for a proper flush are sea salt and water.
In order to complete the procedure, mix two teaspoons of sea salt with one quart of water. Drink this whole solution one morning before you have had any solid food to eat. Within an hour, you should have several bowel movements as evidence the flush is working. If for some reason the salt water cannot be taken in the morning, then the herb laxative tea must be taken night and morning.
If you do not get results you want within one hour, you may need to add more salt to your mix, or you may simply need to drink more water to help move the waste products along your intestines. Though, adding more salt usually does the trick.
Usually people that just start drinking the sea salt-water mixture often do not see the results of the salt water flush until at least day 2 of the cleanse. This can be attributed to people who eat eat meat or dairy products in their diet.
This procedure is far superior to an enema or other over the counter colon cleanser because these cleansers often only clean a small portion of the colon. A salt water flush cleans the whole digestive tract and is often less expensive that preparations you can buy at your corner drugstore.
Remember, the master cleanse requires you to drink the laxative tea at night before you go to bed, and then do the salt water flush in the mornings before you consume anything else.
