Master Cleanse: 10 Tips For Getting Passed The First 3 Days

Most people who do the lemonade diet don’t get passed day 3 because they underestimate it or they do it wrong. Most people who try it start off wrong and sabotage themselves before they even start because they think they can just go right into it with the recipe. That’s a big mistake. There’s more to the lemonade diet than just knowing how to make the recipe.

From the very start your body will begin a process of rapid rejuvenation and detoxification and it will take some time for your body to adjust to it’s new diet. The first 3 are the hardest because this is the time period in which your body goes through it’s biggest biological changes. The third day is when your body goes through it’s toughest withdrawal stage and feels the true addiction to the toxins we ingest almost on a daily basis. For some it’s day 2. Others day 4.

Not to fear. Once you’re passed the initial 3 days you’ll start noticing a difference in your energy and mood levels as your body gets used to it’s new diet and starts to cleanse itself. You’ll start feeling more energized and replenished as you drink more of the lemonade. The most important thing is to stay relaxed.

2. The first 3 days you will encounter your biggest cravings. To help keep your cravings down you will need to occupy your mind and feel comfortable. It’s usually best to do this diet when you are at home for a long period of time. I started on my Friday so I had time to stay at home and make myself comfortable over the weekend. Try renting some movies or read a good magazine or book while your body is going through the heavy detoxing stages. The more you can relax and enjoy being at peace, the more comfortable you will be.

3. Try to remind yourself that the first 3 days are the hardest. It only takes 3 days from day 1 to feel extraordinary. Most people who do it usually always report to feel great after making it passed the 3rd day. If you can make it passed day 3, the rest is all downhill and achieving greatness is just around the corner!

4. Try to save a good portion of your lemonade drink mix for the evening as this is when we usually like to eat the most.

5. Cayenne pepper is commonly used as an appetite suppression supplement. Make sure you are using the recommended amount of cayenne pepper to help aid your appetite, if not more.

6. Sometimes when you are feeling hungry a glass of water or lemonade can really help suppress your appetite. Sometimes your body is really just thirsty but your brain is telling you your hungry.

7. Doing the master cleanse with other people such as your friends or relatives is a great way to keep each other motivated to finish the cleanse

8. Try to stay away from people who are cooking because this will create temptation and will make the commitment so much harder. If you were quitting smoking you wouldn’t want to be around smokers right? The same goes for the master cleanse.

9. Try switching up your drink mix by sometimes drinking herbal tea instead in the evenings. This will help relax your stomach and also help so you don’t get tired of drinking the lemonade mix. Be careful though. Make sure you stick with natural organic teas with no sugars, additives, or caffeines.

10. Try to limit the amount of physical activities you do as your body is going through enough changes. When you exercise your body will need supplements to recover from physical activity. Try to limit the amount of exercise or physical activity as much as you can.

I would highly recommend it if you are serious about doing the lemonade diet. Remember, the more you know about this diet and by following the proper procedures and maintaining a healthy state of mind, it can make even the harder parts of the lemonade diet go by with ease.
